Wilshire-Montana Incredible Price!
My clients were looking to buy a condo with space and preferred to stay in the coveted Wilshire-Montana area of Santa Monica. The only problem was, to get a decent size 2+ bedroom, 2+ bathroom in that area, it's very difficult to do for under $1.4M (or more) unless it's some form of a fixer or a very undesirable location. It was looking like their best chance to find something workable and within budget would be South of Wilshire which, though it's still a Santa Monica location, tends to be less quiet compared to North of Wilshire. Just then, a unit in Wilshire-Montana that was asking out of the budget range did a price reduction and my clients decided to submit an offer. Keep in mind, this was a 3 Bedroom / 3 Full Bath unit that had some very nice improvements including newer flooring and two newly remodeled bathrooms. They ended up getting it for an incredible price and it represents one of the best values I've ever come across in real estate. So happy for them!
Love At First Sight in Wildwood!
My client grew up in Thousand Oaks, and though it was farther away from work he always wanted to move back. He had been living in a smaller house in Beverly Glen canyon and while it functioned well for him as a single person, he now had a family complete with an infant child, so it was time for a change. Though he always marveled at my making the trek from Santa Monica to Thousand Oaks to show homes, I truly didn't mind as it allowed me to take the stunningly beautiful scenic route along Pacific Coast Highway and through Malibu Canyon. After swinging and missing on a couple places, we found a beautiful home in the Wildwood area. The listing agent told me the Sellers were away, but when I opened the door I saw someone's cellphone plugged in on the bottom stair. The Sellers were home! Fortunately they were very kind and allowed us to do the showing after all. My clients fell in love with the house right away, and they're still enjoying it all these years later. It meant so much to help them start their next life chapter!
